Puppy Coach, a trading division of K9Coach dog training is run by Melbourne dog trainer Hans van Heesbeen, a long time passionate and accredited trainer (DOGS & ACMCAS401A) and assessor (Cert IV Trainer and Assessor).
Hans has years of experience being a gentle dog trainer in Melbourne, specializing in dogs with issues – big or small (dogs and/or their issues) – offering practical, easy to implement solutions that ensure the change and improvement you are seeking.
Working with children, the elderly or families a dog training solution is there for you and your dog, regardless of breed, size, age, level of training or need for training.
Following several years working for a major international franchise organisation as their Victorian Manager, Hans branched on his own, forming K9Coach and Puppy Coach in 2007. Susan and Hans have never looked back, Hans the hands-on trainer with Susan the indispensable support person.
The training philosophy is based on having the dog work with us, rather than for us – as man’s best friend it is a much nicer way to work together…after all that is what friends do.
Very involved in the dog and training industry, including many professional memberships and an advisory board position on one of the main industry bodies – education is one of this organisation’s key drivers.
Easy on the dog and on the handler the training delivers result, whether puppies, juveniles or adult dogs, whether it involves children, the elderly, families of people with disabilities – it will work for you and your dog! Find out what happy customers say in our testimonial section.
Hans also runs the Australian Dog Trainers Academy – a registered training organisation offering courses that train people to become dog trainers using reward based methods and one of the few offering nationally recognised dog trainer courses with their ACMCAS401A Conduct companion animal training classes.
